Here you will find everything from the deep and meaningful Maori culture to breathtaking fjordlands, glaciers, mountains, national parks, walking trails and….60,000 million sheep. These are dotted all over the countryside and are an indelible part of this kalaedoscopic country. I’ve only visited three times, but know it won’t be my last.
